When it comes to food, everyone has their own unique palette. What if there was a place where everyone could find something to eat no matter what eating style they prefer. A place where one can savor prime seafood and steaks, while another indulges in a vegetarian Maui Beet Salad. Bennett’s Kitchen Bar Market in Roseville is just that place!
In 2018, Brian and Susan Bennett along with their daughter Margaux, combined their love of enjoying great food and wine with their desire to create a local restaurant business that supports the community. Together they created the Bennett’s Hospitality Group. Their guiding principles are hospitality first, service with heart and great food using fresh quality ingredients, prepared from scratch.
With over 30 years of experience building restaurants across the country, including Chevys Fresh Mex and the Paul Martin’s brand, Brian decided it was time to stop traveling and stay local. Susan knew one of their goals was to offer a menu that had something for everyone. She created dishes that they would serve in their home, and after years of hosting local team dinners with varied meal requirements, Susan said she understood the need for options.
Susan said, “We have a great management team and that has allowed us to treat guests with spirit, serving carefully crafted food using quality ingredients, prepared from scratch daily. The menu is easy to navigate and was designed with gluten-free, paleo, carb-free and other lifestyle diets in mind.”
In addition to popular items such as chicken enchiladas, ahi poke salad and the Bennett burger they offer fresh complimentary, glutenfree bread by request. With 70 wines offered by the glass, guests can enjoy a well known varietal or winery, or ask for a taste of a new indulgence. Handcrafted and shaken craft cocktails are always on the menu. Popular drinks include the Don Julio, passion fruit margarita, raspberry martini and Bennett’s Champagne Lemonade. The Spicy Chihuahua, a guest favorite, is dedicated to supporting local SPCA’s. One dollar is donated to charity every time this drink is ordered!
Brian adds that guests can count on attention to the smallest detail and highest quality such as halibut purchased from the Bering Sea only in spring and summer and the North Atlantic in the fall and winter. This means one of the most requested items, Fresh Pan Roasted Halibut with Creamed Corn and Prosciutto, is always in season at Bennett’s.
Margaux said, “Choices are Bennett’s Kitchen Bar Market’s specialty. We have many in-house specials. Our Inflation Buster Happy Hour includes 25 food, wine and cocktail options, beginning at just $6. The popular Bubbles & Brunch offers two brunch entrees and a bottle of bubbles for under $40. Many like to start the week off right with Monday Wine and Dine For Two. This includes two filets or any entree choice, a starter soup or salad and a bottle of wine, complete for $60. Our hand cut prime New York steaks, porterhouse, filets and aged boneless ribeyes are certified Black Angus and some of the largest cuts in town! Guests can also order them in our market area ready to take home and grill themselves”
Susan shared that Bennett’s offers many ways to make life easier and more delicious. If it’s an event you are looking to cater, Bennett’s is long on offerings! Making the holidays or any gathering a little lighter is easy with pre-cooked meals for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Game Day or any occasion.
Brian said Bennett’s supports the community however and whenever they are able to. They are involved in over 50 events a year, both public and private. In addition to supporting local schools, churches and veterans associations, Bennett’s works with local nonprofit clubs and cities. Some of the events Bennett’s participates in include: Splash with the Roseville Chamber, Arrack Charitable Foundation Annual Corn Hole Tournament, Rocklin’s Brewfest, A Taste of Lincoln, Eleanor Fuller Forever Foundation, Taste of a Small Town in Loomis, HaneyBiz Charity Golf Tournament and the Keaton Rafael Child Cancer Charity supporting both their golf tournament and dinner gala event and many more..
